Course Overview

Fundamentals of Manufacturing Technology introduces participants to the foundational principles, tools, and techniques used in precision machining and toolmaking. Designed for individuals beginning their careers in manufacturing, this course blends classroom instruction with hands-on shop experience to build essential skills in machine operation, measurement, blueprint reading, and toolroom practices. Participants will gain the knowledge needed to safely operate machine tools, understand basic tool and die concepts, and contribute effectively in a production or toolmaking environment.

This Fundamentals of Manufacturing Technology is a 10-week course that meets Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Course Requirements

You must be 18 years or older to take a course with MASC.
