HAAS Basic Operator Program & Certification Testing
Testing Overview
MASC is an officially recognized HAAS CNC Certified Testing Facility, offering certification testing for HAAS Basic Mill Operator and HAAS Basic Lathe Operator credentials. This program provides participants with the opportunity to earn industry-recognized HAAS certifications that validate foundational CNC machining skills.
The HAAS Basic Mill and Lathe Operator training modules equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence needed to operate HAAS CNC milling and turning machines in a modern manufacturing environment. Upon completion of the required online training, students may schedule a hands-on certification test at MASC to earn the HAAS Basic Mill Operator Certification, HAAS Basic Lathe Operator Certification, or both.
Earning a HAAS certification demonstrates to employers that an individual is proficient in CNC fundamentals, safety, setup, and machine operation—core skills valued across the manufacturing industry.
Testing Availability
MASC offers HAAS certification testing Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Testing must be scheduled in advance. Students must register for the specific exam they wish to take: HAAS Basic Mill Operator Certification, HAAS Basic Lathe Operator Certification, or both.

Test Requirements
You must be 18 years or older to test with MASC. Completion of the appropriate HAAS online training course is required prior to testing.
